If you’ve thought about purchasing Chinese Lanterns from another supplier, first ask them, “do their lanterns have metal wires or wax fuel cells assembled in their Chinese Lanterns?”.  99% of lantern suppliers do, which is why you may find their lanterns are less expensive.  Metal wires are not biodegradable. However, most suppliers claim their lanterns are biodegradable, even though they contain metal wiring. Metal wires and wax fuel cells post a tremendous hazard to the environment.
